Criminal Cases in Hialeah

Hialeah is one of the largest cities in Florida and the second-biggest city in Miami-Dade County. It also has the second-largest Cuban population in the United States and, not surprisingly, is heavily Spanish-speaking. Hialeah rose to prominence in the 1920s with the opening of the Hialeah Park Race Track, which was one of the grandest of its era and brought many wealthy or notable visitors to the city. These days, the racetrack is an Audubon Bird Sanctuary and a registered historic place. Later, Hialeah's population grew rapidly thanks to settlement by returning WWII veterans and Cubans fleeing the Castro regime, as well as a textile industry active in the 1970s. Today, the city is home to Miami commuters, but is also a commercial center in its own right, hosting major retailers, small businesses and a headquarters for the television network Telemundo.

As you might expect for such a large city, Hialeah has its own district court within the Miami-Dade County court system. There, residents can handle domestic violence hearings and a few other minor matters. As with all Miami-Dade County residents, Hialeah residents with criminal matters will hear them at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building, on NW 12th Street near Jackson Memorial Hospital. Finding the right Hialeah criminal defense attorney is important as not all attorneys have the litigation experience necessary to deliver the results you deserve. If you or a loved one is in need of defense , we offer free, confidential case evaluations for potential clients, so you can talk to us about your case at no risk or obligation.
