Criminal Charges in South Miami

Just west of Coral Gables, South Miami is a small city of about 11,000 people. Despite what some people might think from the name, it is not a neighborhood of the city of Miami. The area was originally known as Larkin after one of the area's founders, but when it incorporated in 1926, it took on the name of its larger neighbor to the north. South Miami has the interesting distinction of having actually shrunk its borders twice in the 1930s, in an attempt to reduce its responsibilities. As a result, the city borders are highly irregular and the population relatively small. Parts of South Miami are located right next to the University of Miami's campus, from which the neighborhood of Cambridge Lawns indirectly takes its name. That neighborhood includes a historic district recognized for its Tudor and Mediterranean architecture. If you have been arrested in this city, contact us at once for legal advice and assistance. We are skilled prosecutors that will work diligently to help you avoid a guilty verdict.
